Go Full Circle

Analytics drives decision-making that generates tourism revenue. This spring, those connected to Seekers Media received the invite to join Seekers Media Full Circle. This new powerful solution comes via a partnership with MapForce a proven supplier of innovative analytics.

MapForce founder Eric Lesperance joins Seekers as a collaborator, now welcoming a whole new way of reporting for DMOs and large associations.

"Destination stories and content marketing efforts are only as powerful as the outcomes they can prove," he says.

"Mapforce, now part of Seekers Media’s Full Circle solution, works in the data layer—built on Google and Apple Maps, the infrastructure behind over a billion destination decisions every day,” explains Lesperance.

“Seekers Full Circle helps DMOs turn their stakeholders map presence into measurable foot traffic and revenue across every business type in a destination."

Lesperance adds, "Seekers Media does something just as essential: they make people feel something about a place. Doc Pow and the crew don't just tell destination stories—they make people move."

"Teaming up felt like finding our people. Together, DMOs get both sides: the storytelling muscle to inspire visitors, and the Maps-powered analytics to prove it worked."

Seekers social on the rise

Zan Comerford joins Seekers Media this spring as our new social media manager.

After years of working with a Kootenay Rockies-based DMO, Zan also brings a strong entertainment understanding to her work given her years with the Bass Coast Festival as their marketing and social media manager.

“Since starting with Seekers last month, I’ve realized that this company is one of a rare group of truly mission-focused media platforms alive today,” explains Comerford.

“Seekers is relentlessly dedicated to amplifying the good in pure human experiences: nature, novel cultural experiences and transformative travel.

In an era where digital culture threatens to disconnect us from ourselves and each other every day, Seekers is a lighthouse for celebrating and protecting that which makes us feel most alive."

She continues: “I believe that getting outside of our daily routines, whether through natural adventures, unique travel experiences  or mind-blowing festival experiences is essential to the human experience and I’m so stoked to help amplify this on Seekers social.”

Evolving in the AI Era

Seekers’ other new rock star joins the company based out of London, UK, as a coach to help evolve Seekers Media’s operations in the face of “AI Innovations” to maximize marketing returns for our partners.

James Hewes is the founder of SOHO Consulting and with 10 years of executing events and campaigns with the BBC; he knows how to continue to move the needle on content marketing and engagement.

He’s also extremely connected to the global media world, having annually produced the World Media Congress, giving Seekers an inside edge in leading practices on how media companies are staying ahead.

“Seekers Media knocked my socks off from the first moment I was introduced to them,” explains Hewes. “Passionate, knowledgeable, proactive and engaged in the future of the industry in a way that few of their competitors are."

"From working with Jim and his team over the last few months, I can see that the Seekers Media team puts the same passion and enthusiasm into their mission to champion communities in Western Canada through engaging storytelling.”

James, Zan and Eric all join Seekers’ existing team, who have worked passionately for almost two decades in welcoming new travelers to Alberta and BC tourism experiences.

Seekers Media is calling all innovators and marketers looking to make a difference through human connections by humans to reach out today and get that cow bell ringing in more ways than one.
