With the biggest sporting event on the planet on its way to the PNW, it's time to capitalize. Seekers Media are experts in leveraging event tourism and we are here to give you the edge.

Back in 2010, Vancouver and Western Canada captured the global spotlight by hosting the Vancouver Whistler Winter Olympics. Recognizing that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I launched SnowSeekers—an online magazine created to showcase the winter experiences of Alberta and BC.

Seventeen years later, British Columbia is preparing once again to take the global stage, this time alongside Washington State, with Vancouver and Seattle as host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the largest sporting event on the planet.

What began in 2010 with SnowSeekers has evolved into Seekers Media—a multi-platform media network championing Western Canada's tourism and entertainment industries through SnowSeekers, FestivalSeekers, and ZenSeekers.com. A network reaching 100,000’s of travellers monthly, backed by some of the top tourism minded content creators and digital marketing minds in North America.

This highlight reel will give you a quick intro to our work.

With the FIFA World Cup set to deliver a generational tourism opportunity, Seekers Media is making its move.

This time, our move is across the border: in early 2026, ZenSeekers will expand its coverage focus to launch a dedicated section celebrating all that Washington State has to offer, from its grunge music legacy to its legendary outdoor adventures.

What we know about Washingtonians is this: they are independent, creative, and adventure-minded—just like the Seekers community we've built over the past 17 years.

We're confident Washington content will resonate strongly with our existing audience while drawing in new readers and community members amid the anticipated tourism boom surrounding the World Cup.

The time to act is now. Let's connect and explore how we can win together.

Thanks for your time and interest in Seekers Media.

Sincerely,

Jim Barr
