As AI overtakes human-made media, SnowSeekers fights back

The internet reached an interesting place this October 2025.

We're now at a point in human history where there are more articles and stories online produced by robots than by humans. *see VICE link below

Think about that for a second…

More content online is being made by robots/AI than by real storytellers.

Where does human thought and where does the value of the internet go from here?

For any brand, our secret power is our community.

With 15+ years of of community bulding, SnowSeekers is doubling down with strategies to grow loyalty within our dedicated community of passionate skiers and riders.

"As DMOs and promoters of destinations, AI will challenge you to be more of a connector," explains Peter from, President of the Tourism AI Network, speaking at October's TOTA Conference. *see link below

Loyal communities that you have direct contact with—for example, through branded newsletters—so you can offer solutions to their passions specific to your cause and theirs.

At SnowSeekers we are realizing two things:

  1. With robotic content now outweighing human thought online, investing in storytelling, sharing real human stories and building real human connection is now more important than ever.
  2. With AI advancements, we can all expect less referrals from traditional referrers including Google and META.
It's time to consider Google Zero

If your website had ZERO traffic referrals from Google, where would you be?

Since 2008, SnowSeekers has engaged millions of skiers and riders with trusted, authentic stories, reports and "when you go" details on over 90 unique Alberta and BC destinations.

In that, we've raised a following, a community who look to us and trust us to deliver their snow-bound inspiration weekly through the season.

Our current "Which resort will you choose" subscriber drive offers all current and new enews subscribers through the month of October the chance to win a season's pass to any ski resort of their choice across Alberta or BC.

Following this will be a December enews drive called "Why I subscribe" showcasing a series of SnowSeekers subscribers.

These efforts all feed SnowSeekers' goal to reach 10,000 subscribers this season.

AI, or real human connection: your choice

If you are looking to build independence from BIG Tech, through authentic content generation, via real humans sharing real stories about your community, let's talk

If you are seeking solutions to build your e-news subscriber base, Seekers Media helps with that too; visit here for more detail and reach out to us.
