Job post: Seekers Media is hiring for a full-time social media coordinator

Seekers Media—an award-winning digital media company born from the 2010 Winter Olympics—is seeking a social media community champion to help drive our 2026 growth initiatives, including Seekers Mapforce, ZenSeekers Washington expansion, and a heightened focus on building our brands' magnetism. 

About the Role 

You'll manage and grow our social media communities across SnowSeekers, FestivalSeekers, and ZenSeekers—connecting with over 100,000 travel-minded adventurers every month. This role combines creativity, analytics, and authentic storytelling to keep our audiences inspired about travel in Alberta and BC. 

Please note, you MUST be based in either Alberta or BC to be considered for this role. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and grow nine social channels across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Develop daily content (60% curated) that inspires travel and adventure
  • Launch and maintain a new presence on Reddit for all three brands
  • Lead and mentor a part-time weekend support person
  • Manage our #SeekersAmbassadors network (30+ content producers)
  • Oversee a paid media budget to boost engagement
  • Collaborate on virtual festivals highlighting local businesses and destinations 

Who You Are 

You're a storyteller, were born digital and someone who thrives in conversation. You live and breathe travel, outdoor recreation, and community. You have experience building online audiences and understand what makes content 'stick.' 

  • Minimum 2 years of social media management with measurable growth results
  • META ads experience
  • Skilled in Canva or similar design platforms
  • Knowledge and passion for Alberta and BC travel
  • Strong self-starter with a reliable home office setup

Pay: $39,000-$45,000/year (based on 30 hrs/week, with annual benefits review); in addition:
